I'm in Montreal. I have refurbished plenty of CX's . The rubber surrounds from Good hifi are excellent and the only ones I recommend. Though they need some 'play-in' time to soften up somewhat. I think I have some original crossovers left if you are interested. However I recommend proper replacement ones. Good luck on your project!

I love the idea !! I guess that's kind of what we were hoping for when it BS5 originally launched. I like it so far and I am sure it will look great wall mounted. A new and innovative design in the true spirit of B&O. Looking forward to see it in person.

I had them paired with some RL 60.2's and RL 140's which were fantastic.
I'm surprised it matched with RL 140, I thought it would need BM8000 to work properly.
The RL60.2 are indeed a better match powerwise, however the beomaser/RL140's sounded very
Burantek, thank you, I appreciate your creativity. Cooldude, thank you as well for the switch box idea. I originally thought that switch boxes only worked with passive speakers (i.e. two-wire cables): do you confirm that these will work with active speakers as well? Can these work with low level signal (i.e. lower than speaker

....but once up to spec I can confirm the amp's sound is nice, clean, detailed, even at lower volumes. Also pairing them with the right spec'd speakers helps the overall experience imo.
Hey, cooldude, thank for your detailed answer. What do you think of BM8000 relative

Problem with attenuated cables they have only one use and mostly are custom made. They should work, however make sure you switch down the volume before plugging in the headphones...... The A/B switch is fairly cheap and simple to install and use (got mine from Home Depot I think). The speakercraft box works totally automated (mine was installed by B&O

Goal: To have an iPad controlling our B&O system and our vast digital music and video collection?
I can turn on N.MUSIC or N.RADIO from any of my three linked rooms. My server is a Mac Mini running LinkPlayer and iTunes and attached to a BeoPort. The music sits on

@Burantek It would work, I guess , if you had passive speakers...however I don't think the headphone output is at line level (correct me if I'm wrong ...)
