Thank you very much for making such a thread, Martin! My VX5000 is having the speed issue, going to buy the plastic part tomorrow and ordering a lot of capacitors for the capstan motor/power supply/regulator, maybe the mainboard too
Except for the stickers if you want to keep it original
I guess that they are tansferrable

The top cover is the same as used in all the other stacking components. You can virtually fit any top cover from any Beogram CD, Beocord or Beomaster 5000, 5500, 6500 or 7000 I guess that the Beocords are the cheapest to get hold on in good cosmetic condition

I have a soft spot for a Beosystem 5000-series on a attyca stand, Krona! I had just been given this Beovision LS4500 on the fitting motorized stand and Beolink 1000. Found it in the "giving for free" ad section of the Danish craigslist. Fully working, I will use it for my older game consoles (Zelda FTW )

I received an SP15 with that box with my beogram 4000. It was dated september 1973

I heard that some cleaner could destroy the platter finish, but not the ribs! I normally clean in a dishwasher/general cleaning solution. The platter is from a Beogram 8002 and in fine condition. Send me a PM (under my profile, click "start conversation with Søren Hammer") and we can sort something out

What has happened to it? I may have a platter in spare.
