I would keep the RDS version, if the two are different in that respect. It doesn't matter a bit otherwise but you'd regret it later if you got a Beomaster 7000 and your remaining *link didn't have RDS. I don't think the buyers are too aware of this control/clock difference, I certainly hadn't heard of it before. The RDS / no RDS

Bad solders are more common in TVs because of thermal stress but you often see them elsewhere too. Wave soldering wasn't that advanced back

I missed that simulation, you must've posted it while I was writing my reply amidst having breakfast! It seems to make sense, try adjusting the trimmer in that first! Oh, and I have forgotten to mention - I thoroughly enjoy threads with quality photos such as these have been! I know how much work it is to prepare and annotate them...

The carrier frequency however is mostly unique to B&O, which prevents many universal / learning remotes from being used, if they are not prepared for it.

Those "Coscone" bass drivers look interesting. OK, so the display apparently works and has power... I believe it's time to try and find where the data gets lost then. This is unfortunately a bit more involved (and difficult without the service manual) as there are some active electronics in between. What you might do is check the solderings of the Powerlink socket in the bottom of the amp -
