  • Re: M70 vs Beolab 3

Returned from a weekend-off; the room is aprox 50 m2. Is the 80-s/90-s stacking system like a beomaster 6500 better in handling a larger beovox than my beocenter 9500 or isn't it that much of a difference. ( to make things easier I could change my current 9500 to a 6500 with for example a RL7000 beovox.) In the end it's all about soundquality

Currently using a beocenter 9500, so that doesn't help making a choice as it can handle both. The modern speakers are smaller (exept the beolab 5) which is an advantage, but do they deliver the same sound quality? Just can't believe reasonable sound is coming from such a small speaker.

  • M70 vs Beolab 3

Came across a set of M70 "monitor"speakers when looking for a set of speakers for (mostly) classical/acoustic music listening. However, I also consider a pair of beolab 3's because they are more contemporary/modern looking and much smaller, easier to place into my house. Has anyone ever heard both? Which pair to buy? In case of buying

  • Re: waarom BV 7?

  • Re: Beolab 5s playing Vinyl?

Peter: " B&O no longer make what I would regard as a really high end Hi-Fi audio product - except the Beolab 5! " Beolab 3 & 9 are not to be regarded as high-end Hi-Fi?

  • Re: Beovision MX4200

Thanks for the useful answers. In my opinion Picture/sound quality is more important than possible service difficulties, so I'll buy a 4200.

A 4200 less reparable? Strange as it is the newer tv, so parts will be around for a longer time. I also considered the beovision 6 as a replacement, but i doubt it will have the same picture-quality.

  • Beovision MX4200

My old MX3500 has failed, now I consider the purchase of a used MX4200, the latest of these magnificent TV's. A few questions; - is there a real improvement in picture-quality compared to the earlier series (MX4000/2) - a different construction of speakers seemed to be used, has the sound changed much? - I would like to re-use my beautiful white

  • Re: beocenter 9300 vs 9500

Listened to both, connected to Beovox S45-2. They sound very different, perhaps because of a different amplifier. I only listened through beovoxes, so I can't tell if the difference remains when played on Beolabs. Living in 2010, differences in spec's concerning the cassette section are not important to me. Great design however, one of the B&o
