• Re: Fatman Tube/ valve amplifier with B&O speakers
An exposed valve chassis will not be to the taste of most B&O enthusiasts, but has anyone used one of these Fatman systems with B&O speakers? Graham
That'll be a cool look but you'll have to use passive B&O speakers since current B&O speakers have amps already in them.

  • Re: bno should concentrate on apple users not windows ; here's the proof : 90% high end marketshare
but you ARE in IT..
I'm in IT, too. So? There is exactly zero point in a Mac vs PC *hardware* debate these days. The Mac is, basically, a PC with standardized and high end parts. This is why you can run Windows natively and it works perfectly. You could easily build a PC with exactly the same parts
The Ipad uses micro sim cards that are not very common ... well in North America anyways....
True but the actual important part of the sim is the same size. If you REALLY want to use 3g with someone that doesn't have micro sim, just cut the extra plastic off the normal sim. Personally I think the 3g will
It is the full strategic intent of Apple to kill Flash by not enabling it on iPhone, iPod, nor iPad. If/until Apple is defeated in this area, expect no Flash support whatsoever, neither from Apple nor from a third party on the Apple Store.
Defeated? That would be the best thing to happen to web pages in

  • Re: Apple TV vs. Mac Mini

I have both and prefer the Mini. You can just do more with it. With BM-Link or Linkplayer and Beoport you can set it up to work with your B&O equipment and be controlled by your B&O remote. With ATV you need a B&O TV I think. I use Plex to play ripped DVDs on my Mini and iTunes from it for the music. I can use Frontrow with the actual iTMS

And after you've turned it on you can read a book on your iPad.
It is not the processing power or whatever the excuse - it is because Flash support allows you to easily run independent software. Apple doesn't want that, it wants to control the apps and their distribution to be able to dictate how the services and devices are used and how the money flows around them. Ultimately
