Hi & welcome, thats a good question! I personally am not a fan of any of the newest products B&O have released! I thought i was going to like the bv10, but for me it seems cheap in looks and feel. I am not particually bothered about the beosound 8 ipod dock either But i have always like the classic pieces and the iconic items, like the avant

Same for me also, in a surround sound setup the rears don't do a lot! in speaker mode 4 they are quad stereo. i just left mine as is, i know what you mean about the rears hardly getting used seems a waste!

I would agree, i think for looks the 4000 is a beautiful speaker!
-
Sorted, let us know what you think when you get them!!

Personally, i think that once gm got there hands into saab that was the beginning of the end for me!! Saabs were quirky, different and the buyers were very faithful. In the gm era they were just rebodied opel models!

Hi, I have a later large clamper overture does it have n music?? When i select it with the beo4 it says a tape2 on the display, so do I assume that if i bought a beomedia i can then listen to net radio and net music?? Cheers Nick

this is another must have tv, they have always had something new coming out! if it was 100hz, widescreen, flat tube, flat panel, hd, led.....etc it keeps people buying tv's, i can't see a home tv doing great in 3d! but hey ho, lets wait to see whats next!!

they are a very imposing speaker but do not quite have the sound to match the looks!! I think the penta's sound far better but are a little more dated looks wise. i think if you get around the monolithic size then these aren't a bad speaker, are they a good price? Cheers Nick

its a shame really, as the picture on these old sets are mint! I moved onto a bv7 now although not as good picture, I do still love the set!
If the tube is shot, isn't it very expensive to replace on the BV3?
It cost me £500 to replace mine!! and that was mates rates
