Are you certain that your car is too small? A friend of mine and I moved both a 32" Avant and a MX7000 with motorstand in the same Toyota Auris. The seller couldn't believe his own eyes.

Bang & Olufsen attenuators? What are they for? Can't you just connect the pre-out from the amp directly to the line in on the speaker, and put the switch to "Line" as stated in the manual?

Does anyone know where I can buy the two big 10000uF 80v capacitors for the power supply? They seem to have been replaced in one of my speakers by a previous owner, and now i think the old ones in the other speaker are bad...

It does not have masterlink, you need a converter. Why do you want to connect the beocenter to the beosound?

I haven't changed my resistors. For the caps i bought a kit with normal non-audiophile caps from Martin Dillen. Reasonably priced (about £35 if i can remember correctly), and not at all bad.

Is it possible to turn off the screen on the avant, and only get audio? If I pop a CD in the DVD player, for instance, would I be able to just listen to the music without having to turn on the screen?

Hi! I have been looking at buying an Avant or MX7000 for a while now, and now I have the opportunity to get both in one go. They are a bit older than i would like (1997, seller says), and the Avant is green..... :P The model numbers are 8111 and 7800. Can someone tell me anything about them from these numbers? Are they Masterlink-enabled? Seller wants
