Thanks Martin I wouldnt take it the wrong way. I have located it but didnt know if it was the motor bit on the right as you face it or the bit that pulls the volume strip on the left. Your right I wouldnt know what or where to spray so best left otherwise It might become completely stuck. Thanks again help as always much appreciated Andy

Thanks Martin which bit is the potentiometer? Also is the contact cleaner wd40 and where would you sprayit?? I do have sewing machine oil. Thanks

Hi my beomaster 6000 has a problem withe the volume it struggles to push up to 30 and just a running motor noise. had a look inside and I think the belt is slipping?? Any suggestions?? Can I get a new belt form the belt man...... martin?? Thanks Andy

Thanks for all your help well I did as Peter suggested unscrewed the cross screw and wiggled and jiggled the so switch not having a clue what was happening tightened the screw tested on a LP and guess what perfect cueing!! I dont know what ive done or how but it worked! However still doesnt cue properly for a 7 inch but I dont play them much. Thanks

Thanks ive already done what Martin suggested and replaced the belt because the arm wasnt moving well this has helped. i will try the SO this now makes a bit more sense when looking at the diagram. ps ive lots of spares for this beogram and the 6006 if people are in need!!

Hi my beogram 8000 has stopped cueing in the right position both with LPs and 7 inch it drops the arm about 2mm short straight onto the platter! Is it easy to adjust?? I have the service diagram but cant work it out!! Thanks Andy

Hi I have beogram that was given to me it all works well but it appears that the platter catches or scrapes as it turns. All the transport screws have been released. The sub platter and belt were removed during transport but fit back in well. Is there anything I should check? Its not a continuous scrape or catch just once in a revolution. The platter

Hi Can anyone tell me what B&O used for their white surrounds on beomasters and beograms was it a veneer or a melamine product? Also does anyone know of a suitable replacement. I can find all different wood veneers that iron on but not a suitable one in white as they are often thinly cut. Thanks Andy

Hi ive tried taking some photos but the camera isnt good and its just very blurry! Basically the pin that goes through brass rod has borken at its base its attched to a brown bit of plastic which is loose. The whole cassing was forced to the right and jammed aginst the amp section thus preventing the tone arm to move. Ive managed to centre it but I
