Oh cool so it's priced together. But what is the BM5? A hard disk recorder/ manager with a built in ripper of some sort?
-
So let me get this straight. Beosound 5 is the media controller while the Beomaster 5 is the brain? So After shelling out 5000 euro for the controller I still have to shell our for another 5000 for the brain? Well it better be good, and it better have all the high end features. Or it is so not selling, I mean come on! An LCD touchscreen for 5000? And

Imagine if they can't even get timer functioning well, what else can they do? Just joking... haha Is this common though? Timer malfunction? Or maybe they did it on purpose cos they are running a bit late behind the scheduled launch of the website. Sneaky......

My my. Didn't know I am good at spotting the imitators. lol Well at least he is decent enough to say that he was trying to achieve somebody else's look, unlike the designer of Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs who loves to steal from other people's collection and pass it off as his own.

I think he hires a decorator. Plus nothing is really original in his loft. I've seen better versions of them a while back.

jc: Why would the lab 4000 MK II be worse sounding than mark I? Because of the ICE class D amp? But looking at the spec's I see that the praised lab % and lab 3 also have ICE class D amps so what is bad about that? Because there's the Beolab 4s that many here at the forum don't like. They found them cheap sounding and the fact that the Icepower

Dave: wonderfulelectric: Doubtful that he is a member but I bet he has tons of B&O. B&O seems to be very popular with the celebrities. He is probably more into cars and blink. Besides he has a life.... lol It's 'bling' Scrub that, the pictures of his place there made me kinda chukle... I recognise a couple of the furniture pieces

soundchoice70: Totally agree with all your comments regarding design…. With the risk of putting myself out on a limb, for me there havenot been any good designs in the audio range (except speakers BL5/BL9) since the BS2500 w BL6000 / BS9000 w BL8000 were launched. B&O was the market leader both in terms of design and technology during the

yeah... But why the countdown? Has it gained a lot of publicity before its launch? Also they don't seem to have a link to this webpage via the main website which I find is kinda odd. They should have at least done it like the B&W launch of the Zeppelin. How else will the normal browsers know about the launch of Beosound 5?

jk1002: I consider this highly doubtfull. The BS9000 was officially stopped. I adore the BS9000, I have one but I wish they let this one rest in peace. My MK3 is not fragile, survived multiple moves and is still going strong. If it breaks I have it fixed to the day CDs wont be sold and my collection burned or something else happened to it. Cheers JK
