The 32" doesnt have a timer, even wit a ML module. There is a timer menu entry, however that relates to the timer of a connected audio master I believe, have forgotten what it actually does but is definitely not a timer to control the TV
JK, I need the timer to control an audio system as opposed to the TV

Thanks, I might consider trading in my BV8-32 for a BV8-40 on the basis of this info. I'm just awaiting the info on what connections it contains from a video perspective.
-
Thats correct, I had mentioned that as an option in a thread in the BS5 forum which discussed timer functionality. Will be interesting to see if its possible when Beotime is released. Out of curiosity, are any of the other new/soon to be released products included in the new catalogue?

Thanks Christian, I have a BV8-32 with the ML module, will have to check that out as I will need TIMER functionality if I get a BS5, as timers are set at the TV for it, as opposed to the audio system a la BS9000/BS3200. Robert.

Beofan, I remember seeing your post, however I was interested in the specifics of dimensions of the TV, all the included connections, and whether it includes TIMER functionality. I believe this information would be included on the technical specifications normally seen in the catalogues. Robert.

BV8 doesnt have a timer, therefore setting up a timer with a BS5/BM5 would be impossible for me it seems unless i had another audio master, which I don't. The only option would be if the new BeoTime alarm clock can be set to timer on the BS5 in the Bedroom, so the sound comes through the BL3500 in the bedroom. Although I'm not sure if that sort
-
Christian, do you have the specifications for the BV8-40 if it is included in the new catalogue? Robert.
-
JK, my understand was that BM5 was set as, say, "PC", on your TV's connections. You therefore press PC on your remote which brings up the beomedia interface on your tv. You then can navigate and use GO to access your source be it NMUSIC or whatever. Although i'd presume the NMUSIC and NRADIO commands work for both BM5 and BS5. Someone

Phil, I have a BV8-32, which afaik doesnt have play timers... Robert.
