Hi impala, How did you get on? If you need any help or advice, feel free to ask! Best regards, Steve.

Thanks Swiss 2, glad you like the cables! Sorry for the late reply, by the way, as we've been busy moving to larger premises over the last couple of weeks. Good cables can make a substantial difference to sound quality, particularly in terms of shielding against external interference and also better conductivity to reduce background noise and static

Hello Jouni! Let me know what cable lengths you are looking for, as you are a BeoWorld member I will do my best to help! Best regards, Steve.

Hi puck5862, You need mark.2 (Fully Wired) Powerlink cable for your MCL2P. You can find this via my sponsor link at the foot of the page if required. If you are connecting a subwoofer to an AV7000, you can:- 1) Connect Beolab 2 directly to the AV7000 2) Connect a passive sub (eg. Beovox Cona) to the output of the MCL2P along with the RL6000's 3

Hi Christian, Yes, you are quite correct that you only need two RCA plugs to get the stereo signal out of the Powerlink socket, but if you have a "generic" cable that is of an unknown purpose, having four RCA plugs fitted is usually a "guarantee" that two of them will work! However, the best option is always to buy a dedicated cable

Hi Nigel, Just a quick note (as per the email I sent to you) to say that I'm happy to refund or replace your cable if you wish. As discussed, the issue is not caused by a cable fault, but the cable you have is a standard minijack to 5pin DIN "iPod input cable" so it is not suitable for the input on Beolink Active. If you need any assistance

Hi, thanks for all the pictures of my pre-amp kit, that was quite a surprise to see them on the thread! Basically, I have had them made with both RCA and 5pin DIN inputs AND outputs, so you have a choice of connections, but they don't pass Datalink signals through (you would need to unscrew the two extra removeable pins on the Beogram DIN plug to

Hi win, The cable you linked to allows you to connect a non-B&O active subwoofer to a B&O TV or audio system. To connect Beolab 2 to a non-B&O system, you will need a Powerlink Trigger Box to generate the switching signals required by Beolab 2. I can make these Trigger Boxes customised to your specification. You may also have other issues

Thanks guys, I have a Beolink 1000 around somewhere, so I will see how I get on with that - I have a house full of toddleers at the moment (well one toddler, but she seems like a house full at times!) so I'm trying to stick to simpler remotes that can be wall-mounted away from sticky fingers! Yes, I agree that the claimed 110WPC is far from the

Hi everyone, I've bought myself a Beosystem 6500 (without the MCP control panel) and it's currently being serviced by Simon at AVA Services, so I'm excitedly awaiting its return! As I've not got the MCP6500 panel to go with it, I would be interested to hear from any other owners with your views on how easy (or otherwise!) it is to control
