Hey Klas, Don't select the HD version, you have the same model as I have . Regarding your question about the frame, I think it's still possible to order the 50" frame. I know that for the 42" you can't get it anymore . GOOD LUCK !

Hello Klas, I connected the TH-42PH9EK to the BS3 with succes. Everything is working as it was a BV4. Perfect image, but to get it absolutely stunning, I would like to calibrate the system, starting with a 'do it yourself' DVD.

I also have a D9 42" panel connected to a BS3 because I heard the same story about the D10 having a lower SD quality picture. This information came from a Panasonic technician and he also told me that the colours are nicer with a D9 panel. I don't know if the D9's are still for sale and I think that the D10 cost less.
