Thanks Peter. You're probably right, so I've decided not to touch them, until I know if I'm going to keep them or not.

I'm about to take a closer look at the Pentas. Have to check if I can trust the word of the dealer, who among other things (!!!) claimed that none of the speakers suffered from foam rot. But - pardon my ignorance - how do I remove the grills?

Thanks Mika for your good advice. The dealer hasn't replied yet, he won't be in his shop before Monday, so let's see what happens. I'm glad to know that I'm not limited to the speakerlink connections in case I keep the Penta 1's. Nice to know that you have a solution on the speakerlink/powerlink problem Steve.

I have now come across a BC 93000 which I may buy. So my question is: Can I use the speakerlink cables with the BC 9300 or do I have to use powerlink cables

I'm thinking of replacing my Beocenter 9000 with a BC 9300. I have found one which is in ok condition apart from the cd lid, which doesn't always close properly. Sometimes you have to give it a small push in order to close it. Is it something I have to worry about or is it a minor problem, which can be easily fixed?

I have been told that the display in the pentas will work with speakerlink. I haven't tried because I have just bought the pentas a few days ago and shall not receive them before next Wednesday. So this discussion about powerlink versus speakerlink is merely to obtain the best solution. The best solution to me also includes as little cabling as
