Happens occasionally, Pull the power cable out of the Beosystem 2 for about 30 secs - then re-connect. Should fix it (well it does normally).

Problem solved with a full system reset to factory settings. Took ages to reset everything afterward

How does that help? The only difference between the cabling is for the lights on the eye (I'm using an original eye, but without all pins connected). I also don't have the cabling....

The IR receiver doesn't have the connection for the LED (I use the 3.5mm jack) but it is working well as I can control the system with the remote otherwise. 3. Hi, Has anyone got any ideas why I can't set my V.OPT on my Beosystem 3 to 2? Having tried it both with the ML plug in and out, it defaults to 1 each time - this means I can't play my Overture in the same room (but works everywhere else). Has anyone else seen the same issue?

Great - just bought one on ebay. I'd like to get into the box anyhow to put a bigger disk in.
