  • Re: Connect a PC to a BV7-40

godhed: Hi Is it correct, that in order to connect a PC (VGA) to a BV7-40 (DVI) I should use a DVI->VGA cable, and select "DVI-I" in the connection menu for AV4? Thanks Yes, you are right. This works perfectly with my BV7-40. I have programmed a list option "PC" on my Beo4 for this.

  • Re: BeoSound 6 first picture and details

I think the design of this player bears really nothing extraordinary that could associate it with B&O. It could be made by just any producer... I am glad I have my Beosound 2 and wouldn't swap it for this new product.

  • Re: Beolab 9, braucht BL9 ein EXTRA Testurteil?

Ich denke, Beocenter 2 wäre eine gute Variante.

  • Re: BeoCom 6000 (and a brief update on how things are progressing)

I have a Beocom 6000 with Earset 1 as well. Very much satisfied. No issues with low voice volume at all. However, it is a pity that the telephone does not have a speakerphone.

  • Re: gift shop

Peter: Rather depends on the design. I would suggest a repeated pattern of the logo in diagonal rows with maybe just one mention of Beoworld at the bottom left hand side. If there were more in the way of writing, one would feel like an employee and would not wear it. Maybe even just the logo! And it would need to be silk! I support Peter's suggestion

  • Re: Possible BV7 purchase.

I have owned a BV7-40 (with BL 7.4) since about a year now and am very much satisfied with it. I think the price-performance ratio of BV7 is very good. I have a red-colour version, which matches the furniture in the room, and it always causes a "wow" effect when my guests see it.

  • Re: Dolby surround, welche Boxen?

  • B&O articles on Swiss flights

I was again on a Swiss Airlines flight a couple of days ago and had a look into the board magazine. They are selling Beosound 2 and Earset 2 duty free, which effectively around 8% less than the regular prices we have in Switzerland (basically less VAT). The headphones even come with a plug adaptor for the aircraft chair socket, which you don't get

  • Re: Dolby surround, welche Boxen?

  • Re: 5.1 Surround sound.... DTS or Dolby Digital?

In my set-up with Beolab2 DTS delivers a clearly more enhanced sound than Dolby Digital. Always choose DTS if this option is available.
