In response to this problem the designers of the Beocom 5 have designed a completely new clock (shown here in another thread) based on colored circles that is only available as a 12 hour clock. A 24 hour model was not developed because it was thought to be too confusing.

So how do you make the Beosystem 3 to control the stand? Use software for the 103"?

I liked my Serene except when I had to manually dial a phone number. I would always find the number jumbled as the cursor jumped from front to back of of the numbers, made me want to throw it out the window. The rotary retro dial may look good but could not pass the ease of use measure of pleasure. The phone book is great but no one has every number

So then is system "B" their new iPod dock? System "A" must be an upgraded Beosound 5 with Video and NAS?

As I understand it Idealab was the software development group created by TBS to work with on its own with Idealand the existing product development department that had been created back in the 60's -70's for outside designers to work with inside B&O staff to model new products. Based on its track record this cut is likely long overdue.

Since this is the team that created Beosound 5 this does seem odd. David Lewis is not shy about his feelings for this group.
