Where are you based? I have a 1401 knocking about you can have. It will be set up with a UK plug though.
Hi Peter I realise this post is getting on a bit, but when you said the original poster could 'have' your 1401, did you mean permanently? My 1401 has just died and I'm on the lookout for a replacement

Hi All I have a friend headed for Copenhagen and I'm wondering whether a Beotime would be less expensive in its native land than here in Australia. Can anyone tell me what they retail for in Denmark? Cheers Stuart

Still trying...I will not be defeated... As I don't have a Beovision 1 TV, which buttons should work with the BeoSound 9000? Maybe it is actually working but I don't know it. e.g. Should pressing 'Go' cause a CD to start like it does with the Beo4? Or do you have to be in CD mode (and without a display on the Beo1, how would you know

Hi Stefan - yes I did, several times, and that screw holding the battery case in is really annoying to keep undoing and re-doing! Do you need to replace them after the programming, or just to 'reset' as someone suggested? Thanks for your advice. S

Hi all Just discovered this post and got over-excited...alas to no avail. I couldn't make my Beo1 do new tricks either. Have any previous failures since been successful? Is there any trick to the timing of the button presses? How long does one hold he buttons for? How much pause between? And when the instructions say press the "stop" button

I use the 9000 for music and the Ouverture (connected to my non B&O television and BL6000 speakers) for movies. The two systems are not masterlinked. Is there a way to avoid turning both on at the same time with the Beo4 remote? I use the 9000 more than the Ouverture. Something about changing options? Thanks

Joining in on this game... I can't find one of these anywhere and I'm a bit clueless about the XML maker as well. I believe that LG and Phillips use the same LCD panel (at least when mine was made). If anyone has such a file I'd really appreciate it. Cheers Stuart

I've been looking at various offerings of these phones on eBay with a view to purchase, but I'm confused about colours. I don't know whether it is the photography or whether B&O changed colours during the phone's production, a difference based on model number or a combination of all three. I especially like one that looks electric

Well I've connected the Lab 6000s to the Mac Mini and they work fine, except that when they are in standby mode, switching on a light anywhere in the house triggers them to turn on as though they were receiving a source (indicator light changes from red to green and speakers hum). Subsequent light switching on results in a sharp "crack"
