On the audio front find I tend not to buy new B&O because the slightly older kit is too good! As far as TVs go 4K and up is simply more than I am able to spend on a TV at the moment although I am tempted to save up for BV8-40. Simon

There is no reason that B&O could not produce a product like the P5. If they could get the product right it would be a great way of introducing people to the brand. Simon

Thanks for sharing I only got as far as soldering one of martin's capacitor kits and some cosmetic work on the cabinet with mine. I don't think I will touch my main pair but I am tempted to use my spare pair as a project! Simon

A more compact option would be the Beovox S45-2. I used the with my Beocenter 7000 with excellent results. By happy coincidence Lifestyle-av have a pair for sale on eBay! Simon

You can connect a non-B&O CD player while you are sorting out the repairs to your CD50. Unlike most B&O your Beosystem is a pretty standard width so it won't look too bad visually. Simon

I have a couple of older Philips CD players, a CD650 which was a classic early model which is plugged into my Beomaster 1900 and a CD618 which is now in my Beomaster 5000 stack because the CD50 is out of service. It's not a great match visually but it is beter CD player than the CD50. Simon
