• Re: Linkroom only being fed one source - please help
It makes sense. When you press TV in an "audio link room" your videomaster in the main room wiil switch to TV and the sound will be distributed via Masterlink. If your link TV played RADIO (also distributed via Masterlink from your audiomaster in the main room) it will also switch to TV, but only sound, because

  • Re: Serene one of "Dirty Dozen ugliest and lamest cellphones" by PC World magazine Google translation
( "The twelve grimmeste and most platteland phones" ) ?
It can be almost guessed, but anyway: grimmeste ... ugliest platte ... buls**t (mobiles - in the article's context or, indeed, more softly said 'lamest' etc) Both are Danish adjectives Platte land (as Ignace pointed out) is Dutch ..

  • Re: Beoterms
Actually, I think Bangsung pretty much sums it up right now.
Perhaps you are expressing too much BeoCriticism? Or am I being BeoFooled?

  • Re: Is it possible to set up a BeoLink system without an B&O TV or Audio System ?
Hi PhilLondon, As far as I know Beoport can distribute N.Music N.Radio but only when there is an audio master. TripEnglish (as ever) sums it up perfectly; "No. The PC2/BeoPort is a client product to be used in conjunction with a BeoSound audio master. Even with a BeoVision product, a BeoSound is required to distribute

  • Re: Bang & Olufsen for the ignorant or for the connoisseur?

I think that the quotations brought up by moxxey just illustrate what sometimes happens to a sloppy journalist, like the one writing for DT, when he/she pretends – lazily, indeed - to have ‘searched’ for ‘facts’ to support an article’s point(s)… I don’t think B&O was meant to be attacked here, just

  • Re: DVD 1 Freezes....

SORRY, although Japanese as well, it's Pioneer, of course!!! (no blushing smiley available?) I have one, too, and no problem so far - I guess I wanted to say avoid the Philips one.

  • Re: Wood on walls (like BeoLiving scene)
by the way, the Beoliving room in Struer is from a acustic point of view one of the worst demo rooms I've ever been in. Just awful sound and waste of the power of the lab 5. I spoke to one of the B&O Tonmeister about the room acustic and he was not happy with it either...
Then why didn't he (suggest

  • Re: DVD 1 Freezes....

Yeah, but it could also be that it's just the one with the older Philips guts (how old is yours?) - in that case not so much help available, I'm afraid (have one myself). the later vintage with Panasonic drives are better...

  • Re: advise needed beolab 5
(Hmmm - heard of one customer where I live who bought six BL5s, because he wanted more bass at home after trying two. At the time I thought he had to be a bass addict, now I think he wasn't made aware of the correct setup.)
Nice and cozy area you live in, soundproof ... I would consider applying for a dealership

I wonder what the resulting patterns look like, Andy ... I suppose you are still drinking with your buddies while knitting, right? Personally, I find it's all about meditation when considering diverse activities ... there's nothing like a determined attempt to weed out a garden - I recommend tropical climate as everything there grows fast and
