Are you using a subwoofer with yours Paul? I could not go back from 9's to 1's without a very good subwoofer to accompany them... the bass from Beolab 9 is to die for when they are placed in a good position.

Of course it isn't recommended that the potentiometers are tweaked for eq purposes. But no harm in trying it if you have a pen and paper to keep the original values on hand. Exception being the BL1 imo, which i sometimes had the impression that final development and tuning of that speaker was left unfinished. Treble here is adjusted via Beovision

Does anybody know why the BL9's maximum sound pressure level (dB) isn't listed anywhere, all the other Beolabs have this info attached...

It's a bit of a Mac eater! I saw it a few weeks ago at work (of course, it still just sounds like a tinny laptop) but it looks nice! It's supposed to go on sale here in oct for $3k

that is very nice... the gap is closing between B&O and other manufacturers. In all fairness, B&O televisions such as the BV8 and BV10 are starting to look blatantly over priced... that's my two cents anyway...
