I would not value the Beolab 6000s as highly! Guessing as to both the items condition and the US market which differs from perception of B&O than the European market I would hazard a guess at BL6000 $1,000 BL2 $2,000 BG8002 $100-200 BC9000 $100-150 BM8000 $400 Brian

Off thread - you need a bigger engine to move a larger car - or a smaller one faster! The US speed limit varies from state to state and can be as high as 75 mph in some areas. Back in 1996 the limit in Montana was described on signs as "Safe and Reasonable". At night it fell to about 70mph (I think). I could not work the reason why the first

Samuk, The remote is key to the operation of your system pieces. I keep a spare (or 4) so I can adjust volume and so on. Steve, A most useful tip about the camera! I have not come across that one before (is it just me or is it new to others?). I have just been tyring out several remotes - including non B&O to test it! If only I had known about it

...if everyhting is half (can't really call it Beolab1 though) - will it go down to half the frequency level of the old one???? Brian

Excellent pairing of red and black. Have you done gloss or matt white and black? Brian

I was flicking thrpugh the pages of a Maplin catalogue that showed a remotely operated mains switch that could be used to power on a 6 way set of sockets. Now if something could be made (by B&O?) like that to work from a Beo4 then I would be most pleased as I could then switch things off and yet still be able to switch them back on without running
