I posted only once on a Wednesday thread but for some reason my browser included the complete html text (rather than just the text I wrote) so a bit of a failed first try - could the next try count as the first again??!!

No cons at all, it is a straight forward portable music system, lovely build quality and sound - it's a pleasure to take out and about. I think it is one of the modern B&O classics. There was a problem with the control plate at the top but once replaced it works perfectly. If buying second hand it is worth checking if the plate has ever caused

I've just used my wife’s upgrade to order an iphone 4 for £169 and £30 a month on a 2 year contract, so will give my verdict in a few days. She already has a 3GS and I can no longer pretend that either the Serene or the Seranata can compete on any level with an iphone except sound quality, for that reason I may keep the Serenata

Hopefully a straight forward question, is the motorised wall bracket for the BV7 the same for both the 32 and 40 inch or are they diffferent? I know the table and floor stands are different. Thanks Dan

It's the same table stand as I have and it looks like a BV7 without the DVD player, the table stand does come with the support for the 7-1 / 7-2 speaker.

Do you know how to check the version on a bv7-40 mk2? I have a V+ plus box, using a BEO5 remote and it is very painful to use and often switches the box off instead of on! Thanks Dan

I'm not sure if bad design is the same as bad quality but my A8's for the serenata has just broken for the 3rd time in under 2 years. I despair!!
