The way they're going , I don't give B&O long . Their prices are one problem but their product limitations don't help either. One of my friends was thinking of buying a pair of beolab 3's for his samsung tv but they only connect in stereo and require a b & o tv to work in surround , a massive outlay

For those of you not enamoured with the Beosound 8, B&O are releasing the iPort which is made by Sonance. This small device allows your iPod or iPhone to be controlled using your Beo4 and on screen displays anywhere in the house. (You clearly need the linked TV to be in view!)
Thanks for the link. The specs of the BeoSound 8, if I can call them specs (very weak), do not even mention if the BeoSound 8 charges the iPod, iPhone, or iPad while inserted in the dock. I'm sure it does, but the specs don't mention it. Best regards!
It does!
I don't have that option on my BV 10. What is your software verson?
It only shows up on the latest version of the software and only on the 46" ...

Based on all this speculation I have a feeling you will all be pleasantly surprised with what B&O has in store : )

Lutron makes some. If I remember correctly they're about $90 each, they fit in a standard metal/plastic socket backbox and they are available in the popular decora style and colors. FYI though you will only be able to order these through a B&O dealer.

In case anyone in the New York area wants to see it I have it set up in my store as of yesterday! First one to arrive in NYC!

The ML Gateway has a web interface you can pull up on your iPhone that gives you light control of your B&O products as well as a number of other non-B&O home automation products that can be controlled either via network connection or RS-232. I'm learning the ins and outs of this product as we speak but so far I have to say the potential
