I love the BL3500. I think it is a great B&O design statement. I listen to mine almost every day - morning radio. However, I must agree with The Stig: BL 3500 would no be my choice for a center channel from a sound point of view. If aesthetics is what you want, then it's ok. I would also choose the 4000's for a center channel. Before B&O

If it is dollars and in excellent condition then I think it's a good price. Depending on the speakers it could be a great price, for example if the speakers are bl3500/4500. Let us know.

How about a new BeoPort. This one would be plugged into AppleTV and thereby fully integrate that product into the Beo family. I know, Beomedia. I know, the AppleTV USB port is not meant for this! But if B&O leaves the "media server" part to Apple and concentrates on system integration, I think they'll get more return for their investment

Thanks for replying Keith. I think it's record lock with VCR. The word "Record" appears on the red LED display on the Avant and I can't do anything such as change source (VCR, TV, STB, VAux, Channel up/dn). I decided to unplug the TV and that cleared the issue, but I know there's a better way.

I've managed to accidentally put my Avant into Record Lock. Help! How do I turn Record Lock off? TIA
