I think many don't mind to manage a library anyhow to copy the files to a mobile player. Also, the ID tags are sometimes funny and require clean up. It's a nice to have feature I guess.

Was geplannt aber wegen dem BV10 46" verschoben wurde, ist ein weiteres Musik System das mit Ipod oder BS5/BM5 verbunden werden kann. Ich denke das wird aber eher Ende des Jahres. I am using a NAS or lets say used. I have an older Imac with a "G" connection and it causes Itunes serious trouble. It gets very sluggish when files are not on the local drive. Beosound 5 does not work without Beomaster/media 5. I don't think anybody would buy your BS5 unless for spares or they got the BM5 alone which is very rare. So I would consider seriously buying the BM5 as well.

while you start itunes, push the "option" button down. this brings up a little pop up that lets you either choose another existing library or create a 2nd one. You just have to point it to the right location, under preferences -adanved from the menu. So you would run 2 libraries and would have to change between them when you start itunes.
