scott451: ... does the whole circular shiny metal move ? ... Yes it does. If you place some thing on top of the plate, it will turn as well. I don't if the BL3 is too high, and if it will cover the DVD tray or not.

I am afraid this will not work. You need two convertes: The ML/MCL as you suggest, and the BeoLink Converter. The BeoLink Converter takes MasterLink from the MX4200 and gives you DataLink out to the MCL-2AV. The ML/MCL takes PowerLink the the hidden PowerLink sockets on the MCL-2AV and gives you speaker out, to the passives. Instead of the ML/MCL you

It is possible to control the CD50 with a Beo4, but ONLY through a Beomaster of the following types: 3300, 3500, 4500, 5500, 6500 and 7000. The CD50 was originally sold with the Beomaster 5000, but that particular Beomaster does not respond to the Beo4.

I have voted for number 1, but that does not mean that I will buy one soon. I am very happy with my CDs and my BS9000. I actually think the BS5 is superior to the BS9000 in terms of use, but I would like to enjoy my 9000 for as long as possible. I am sure, that when I get a BS5, the 9000 will only be use occasionally, and that is a pity.

I don't know if it is related, but I cannot chose A.AUX in my kitchen, where I have a MCL-2A connected to my BS9000 in the living room. Pressing LINK SHIFT RADIO yields nothing, but I use LINK A.TAPE instead, which does the same. I your case I think V.AUX will select AUX on the LX, and A.AUX perhaps selects the AUX on the MCL-2AV which is used for

Steve at Sounds Heavenly: Hi Mika, Ok, maybe not blue (although I do admit to liking this, despite the fact it is already becoming a "retro" choice!). I suspect that just about any colour of LED would be better than red to go with this colour scheme. LED technology now allows almost any colour of visible light (including white) to be displayed
