Hehe, I have also noticed that! :-) I'd rather say it's an ls/lx4500/5500 or 5000/6000 since the speaker frets are flat. All whitelines I've seen IRL have had black frets, but I've seen white frets (and even grey ones, IIRC) in the catalogues.

What the AV9000 (gorgeous set!) really needs is more s-video inputs, the rgb inputs are really poor on the LX55/60/MX55/60/70/AV9000 sets - even composite gives better pq (well, if you can stand the jaginess of composite) than rgb on these sets. What a pity :-(

This probably sounds silly, but have you tried unplugging the system from mains for a couple of minutes? That was the solution when I had the same fault (no AV or link functionality, but I don't have any beolabs with display). Worth trying before you take it to the repair shop :-)

If it works with the MCP it should also work with the bl1000. Check the bl1000 (batteries etc), you can for example use a digital camera to see if the diodes emits any signal (the IR signal is visible on digitla cameras).

Jag försöker att låta bli :-) Det är väldigt lockande, det är ett väldigt fint system! Jag har ju ett likadant fast i vit färg (och med sc80-2) så det vore ju fint med ett i palisander också, men jag har inte plats/rum! :-( Bra pris!
