I would agree, if you want it to fill out the low-end. A BeoLab 2 will turn the low-end into a room-shaking experience. Good for hip-hop and movie lovers. The BeoLab 11 is no-way near as powerful, but IMO, FAR more musical and 'un-intrusive' on the sound. Goes plenty deep and loud enough to cause issues with the neighbours, but doesn't take

As stated above, the specifications mean nothing! I get to use lots of different studio monitors, Genelec, Adam, Mackie etc. In many ways, the speakers which don't measure out the best often sound the best. Genelec for instance spend a lot of their time fine-tuning their speakers in an anechoic chamber/scientific lab, whilst Adam do a lot of tuning

Well I've been a Mac user exclusively for a few years now too, for all the right reasons IMO, but this latest flaw in iTunes is really, REALLY doing my nut in. It seems it's not bit-perfect, and actually seems to be re-sampling the audio on the fly too (it phases in and out when played at the same time as audio from QuickTime). EXTREMELY irritating
