You only really need a 5 pin DIN to 3.5 mm stereo jack (the other 2 pins are for Datalink remote signals). It has to wired correctly though & Steve @ Soundsheavenly will make sure of this. Chris.
You should have asked ALL questions BEFORE buying the item. You now have a contractual obligation to pay for it. I agree 100
Thanks for that yes I will do cash on collection it just isnt worth the risk !I am not in habit of not buying when agreed but at such a large amount and when I am inexperienced I just needed advice thanks!! Errr.... You really cannot compare the £30 Maplin jobs to BL4000's. They are in a league stratospheres ahead, you won't be disappointed at all with the sound, particularly if they are the better MK1's. Find a suitable size, cut to length and epoxy in. Even available in black if you

Simply loosen an edge to give you a start & you can often gently peel them off working your way round (with a small blade to assist if neccessary). You just need to be extra careful where the coil
Holy crap Chris, that's a challenge!
Bigger than you could imagine. One of the Bass drivers wasn't working but thanks to a tip from Martin (detached flexible wire to the voice coil which required some pretty painstaking dismantling & resoldering) at least that is now fine. The usual refoaming will
