What do you have them hooked up to, and with what cables?
-
Interesting choice on the audio cable! Wasn't the original a variant of the DIN standard, however?

It looks like parts of the black paint have separated from the front glass as well, so you might need to budget for either a replacement front screen or do some touch-up work behind the glass with a paintbrush.

I bet you could find them at RadioShack... they aren't anything special to B&O, that part of the system is quite standard, and everything from Tivo's to DVD recorders uses external IR emitters nowadays.

The original styrofoam and cardboard boxes are still available; have your dealer order them for you. When you're setting them up, be sure to glue to the middle supports, which wrap around the display portion of the speaker, into place against the sides of the box. Otherwise, the middle supports will migrate during transit. They need to be glued in place

mecca: ...and another question...for my TV sound in...does it have RCA inputs?? or will i have to use a DIN (input) to RCA converter.. What I usually do when I have a question about what kind of inputs a system has is first check the user guide. It's available from both this site as well as bang-olufsen.com

Could possibly also be used on a BeoPort/BeoLink PC 2....?
-
This is actually an external sensor that is used with the NTSC VX5000 and AV7000, among other items. It's not suitable for MCL installations, at least not without rewiring.

What SIM card were you using in the States? Is it possible that the provider didn't have a roaming agreement with any of the 2 GSM providers here?
