  • Re: any use?

Thanks for the valuable imnformation guys - I can see from your varoius replies that the best utilization of the BS5 is achieved with a bit of effort and good organisation skills. I'd be happy to buy it as long as it adds value to the overall B&O experience. I do get fed up changing CD's in the BS9000 and I also think the BS5 is a lovely

  • Re: Maybe a fraud with stolen B&O stuff???

sounds as doggy as a a traveller offering to tarmacadem ur driveway for £200....wouldn't touch it with a bargepole....A lot of the high value items stolen in the UK riots are selling internationally, so if its not a complete swindle, you could in fact be buying stolen goods....the only way you can be sure is to ask him/her for the ID number

  • Re: compatibility between Beocom2/beocom 5 system and a new Beocom 2 unit

well, it was a combination solution....first the beocom2 needed a software update, happily supplied by my local dealer here in Dublin, then it was a matter of unregisterig the Beocom5's from the beolink2 and then registering the Beocom 2 first to the Beolink2, then re-registering the Beocom5's back onto the Beolink2. its now working a dream

  • Re: BeoCom 5 vs BeoCom 6000

i bought two of them and i might as well have two tins of beans sitting on my tables for all the use they are - they are junk in current setup, so unless the resolve the sound problems with a new sw upgrade soon, mine too are going back - and even using them with screen away from ear the sound is poor. The sound on my speaker oneconstantly fades in
