Guys thanks for the *very* quick replies (you're online all the time so it seems) ... I've found that very technical thread and I simply didn't understand anything, I think I will contact Ulf for a fix... By the way, the sound of the CDs that work is really mind-blowing! Love it! Many thanks Stephan

Hmm, got the Beomaster 7000 now and I could test it... Some CDs work perfect and play from beginning to the end without a problem, others simply don't show the tracks and the CD goes into sleep mode. Any ideas? Is it really the laser? Best regards Stephan

I recently bought a used but very good looking Beogram 7000 to step by step build up a vintage Beosystem 7000. As I said, it looks perfect, no scratches no dust etc. but if I insert a CD it shows "Track" on the left side, starts and stops after 15 - 20 seconds. The Beolab 7.4 speaker is a mono speaker designed to be used as a centerspeaker, the other 7.x speakers are designed as full range speakers that also cover front left&right (because of this fact, the speaker is wider than the screen itself). The more I look at the pictures, the more I love it. Maybe you can "open" up the speakers so you have 2 parts in terms of wall mounting... Stunning design, I don't have a reason for buying it but I'm already calculating / finding a excuse to buy one... Hey, you guys up there in Struer, if you read this: This is it!, This is the thing

Damn, this thing looks nice ....

Nice to read that B&O and Sausalito keep the cooperation and push the boundaries further. If its in-wall/ceiling, think about motorized stuff, that would be so cool... On the other hand, we could steal the motorized speakers from the dashboards of the Audis & Astons in our area...sounds like a plan! Best regards Stephan

Speaking in pictures: Adding a Beolab 2 to a Beolab 5 is like putting low fat milk (BL2) and full fat milk (BL5) together... You won't notice the difference :-) The bass drivers in the BL5 are just pure evil, you can literally "see" the bass waves in your room.. BL2 was good but nowhere near, so adding it makes no sense. Seriously, I did
