First things first - the troublemakers - those huge power cans. Now, they are, well, not so huge... The old 3000uF 50v compared to the new 3300uF 80v. In the middle, I have wired up the original 5000uF cap already. This is a very difficult part to keep tidy as there are so many leads going to and from. However, with patience, the job can be done.

For airplanes, I prefer the "inner ear monitor" style of earphones. They are the type that use a rubber or foam piece to seal the can to your ear. These provide a significant drop in exterior noise without even needing active cancellation. And as a plus, they can be spooled up and thrown into a small pocket without the risk of breaking. I

I think we are missing a big detail here.. Can't the Labs be bypassed so the Pentas are driven directly by the BM8000? I wouldn't bother with finding a different pair of speakers or attenuating cables, just drive the Pentas regularly. I'm not familiar with the cabinet structure of the Penta so I may be wrong here, but can't the Pentagonal

Picked this album up today! I've had a few of the tracks (the popular ones) from iTunes for a while and thought that those were the only ones worth hearing. That changed once I heard a different track on saturday night. Definitely suprised how well this pop group put together such a great set. Can't believe it has taken me 6 years to discover
