A 6000 euro TV *should* have sound that matches the price. Bayerische, is it mainly the lack of bass which concerns you, or is there something else (lack of detail, unclear voices, shrill highs etc.)? My current TV is a BV 8-32 which also serves as my main speakers (it's masterlinked to my Ouverture). Very acceptable sound! Due to the smaller dimensions

Hi BeoWorlders, I just got information from my dealer that the BV 10 will arrive on our shores next April. While that's half a year after the European rollout, it should allow B&O some time to iron out the kinks that a brand new product inevitably has. Price around $6500, probably before the stand. I'm first in line! Leo

Hmmm... as a B&O owner for 12 years (and my father for many years before that), we also have a Loewe Spheros 42HD plasma. More plasticky, yes, but in general well-designed and very pleasant to look at. Never considered Loewe "cheap" and "tacky". Bose might be another matter. If it wasn't for the (to me) strange looking floorstand

Judging by the photos of BV 10's on floorstands, it seems that the screen's height may not be adjustable. I sure hope that isn't the case - it makes the TV look slightly ungainly. Compare the images of the BV 10 with the BV 5 and BV 9: Where the 5 and 9 float sleekly just above their bases, the 10 is perched awkwardly on top of a thin pole

Does anyone know if the vertical position of the TV on the floor stand can be adjusted? The spacing between the metal disc and the TV bezel is slightly too wide for my taste. Leo

Thanks for these "professional" images!! I admit the photos from the press launch were rather underwhelming. OK, very underwhelming. The setting seemed inappropriate. But these new photos, plus the ones in Picassa, are stunning. Yes, I agree the design isn't groundbreaking, but I like how they took a classic shape and refined it. Just

Have you set your laptop to transfer display output to the VGA/S-video port from the LCD? If you have a PC, the function is usually activated by pressing "Fn" (usually on the bottom left of the keyboard) followed by one of the function keys (F1, F2 etc.) on the top row. Alternatively, go to Display Options or something similar in the Control

I've followed the discussion of the BeoVision 10 since rumours started appearing 9 months ago, read each new post with the eagerness of a child, and have never seen a single person make a negative remark about it. Normally it would seem to be another one of those overhyped products, but several of us have actually seen it in the flesh and have nothing
-
I'm extremely close to ordering one. Just want to see a bona-fide, decent-resolution image of it first. I trust B&O's specs, build-quality, and all the other kaboodle... not worried about buying it touch unfelt. Leo

We have a Loewe Spheros HD 42", purchased as a floor model from one of the last remaining Loewe retailers before they left the US market. It has an unusual resolution - 1024x1024. The plasma picture is amazing on HD, less impressive on SD (our old nothing-special Panasonic tube beats it). Sound is also very ordinary, has built-in very boomy "subwoofer"
