A 6000 euro TV *should* have sound that matches the price. Bayerische, is it mainly the lack of bass which concerns you, or is there something else (lack of detail, unclear voices, shrill highs etc.)? Judging by the photos of BV 10's on floorstands, it seems that the screen's height may not be adjustable. I sure hope that isn't the case - it makes the TV look slightly ungainly. We have a Loewe Spheros HD 42", purchased as a floor model from one of the last remaining Loewe retailers before they left the US market. It has an unusual resolution - 1024x1024. The plasma picture is amazing on HD, less impressive on SD (our old nothing-special Panasonic tube beats it). Sound is also very ordinary, has built-in very boomy "subwoofer"
