For the looks I agree, the BeoCom 2 is much more impressive that the Beocom 5. However, owing the 5 with the handsfree speaker, I must say I am quite impressed with it. It work splendidly (at least with the latest sofware :-), selecting contact is very easy (especcially if you have multi numbers per contact), the shared phonebook and share last number
