Playing on the Beosystem 7000 + B&W speakers: The Black Seeds - The Answer. Into The Dojo is one of my favourite albums!

Ignore that - just use the Camcord input, which looks like 3 little circular connections, yellow, white and red. Connect the cable you'll get from your B&O dealer (or wherever else) into the white and red connections and activate 'Camcord' on your remote.

No use in simply putting down specs - that's like saying I want a car with 350 BHp and such and such level of torque - it doesn't really mean anything!

DVD controller would be a good idea IMO, full Vision Clear would obviously give the picture a bit of a boost too.

Peter : I suppose the question is: What would you like to see on a bigger BV8? Most of my DVD collection actually...

Didn't listen to them - but I did have a pair which I've subsequently taken to bits - wish I'd kept them now! They had foam rot though... The tweeter was a Seas 2" dome as seen in the BeoVox 5000mk3 which was of course of the same time period, can't really say I remember what the mid/bass driver was! I seem to remember it looking like a Peerless design

Jandyt: Alex: Steady on now! I'm not the greatest fan of bad punctuation, but I (almost) always enjoy reading Flappo's posts - highly entertaining and his opinion is just as valid as anyone else's. Hear, hear! BTW Alex, when texting your pals with your mobile, do you use correct spelling and punctuation? Just curious. Pah, foiled!

Bear in mind B&O are still kinda getting their feet back on the ground at present. I expect we'll see a barrage of product changes at some point (even if it's not for a while yet).

Debussy's Prelude A L'apres - Midi D'un Faune - LSO/Frühbeck. Amazing piece of music...
