[quote user="The_Beonic_Man"] Basically this store is looking for someone like me so I'll send my CV across immediately. Based on threads over the past few months it seems that the majority of users on this forum are so negative towards B&O as a company and their products I can't see anyone else who has the same passion I have

Hi and welcome to beoworld. Replacement drivers are no longer available for the C75's although I have heard of someone using CX100/50 drivers with decent results. Refoaming is the way to go with these if you want to keep the original sound. Replacing aging capacitors in the crossovers will also improve the sound to original spec's. The sound

It sounds like the MX5500 isn't recongnising the stand. There is a sequence to follow when attaching a motorised stand to a MX for it to recognise it and hopefully this is the problem. I have a non-working BC3300 which I can de-solder the cable from & send if it is any use. I'm fairly sure it will do the job although I've never opened a 4500. Chris.

Which cable has been cut - the power cord or the connector? Chris.

The MMC10E is the exact same cartridge as the MMC20E. So in that respect it is superior to the MMC20S. I think it was made for the American market but why? No idea Chris.

I thought the BG8000 used a seperate (ie non-integrated) connecting cable which plugs into a DIN socket at the rear. I'm sure mine did when I had it?? AFAIK you need a shielded 7pin DIN > 7pin DIN cable - I would contact Steve at Sounds Heavenly - his cables & knowledge are right up there with the best. Chris.
