• Re: Job Vacancy with B&O Dealer - London
Basically this store is looking for someone like me so I'll send my CV across immediately. Based on threads over the past few months it seems that the majority of users on this forum are so negative towards B&O as a company and their products I can't see anyone else who has the same passion I have

  • Re: Beovox C75

Hi and welcome to beoworld. Replacement drivers are no longer available for the C75's although I have heard of someone using CX100/50 drivers with decent results. Refoaming is the way to go with these if you want to keep the original sound. Replacing aging capacitors in the crossovers will also improve the sound to original spec's. The sound

  • Re: MX5500 motor stand issue....

It sounds like the MX5500 isn't recongnising the stand. There is a sequence to follow when attaching a motorised stand to a MX for it to recognise it and hopefully this is the problem. Unplug the TV from the mains & detach the stand connection. Then plug the stand into the TV before plugging the TV back into the mains & powering on, Welcome

  • Re: Beogram RX 2 Help

Fantastic photo's and a very easy to follow procudure you have written Chrx. Thank you very much for this thread which is especially welcome from a new member. A terrific first thread from you which I am sure will be of use to many of our members. Hopefully this will solve the problem as stated by Vince the author of the OP. The RX2 & 1800 are

  • Re: Beocord 4500 cable
It is the connector cable. The power cord would not have been a problem.
In that case I may be able to help. I have a non-working BC3300 which I can de-solder the cable from & send if it is any use. I'm fairly sure it will do the job although I've never opened a 4500. Chris.

Which cable has been cut - the power cord or the connector? Chris.

  • Re: MMC10 ?

The MMC10E is the exact same cartridge as the MMC20E. So in that respect it is superior to the MMC20S. I think it was made for the American market but why? No idea Chris.

  • Re: Beogram 8000 - cable question

I thought the BG8000 used a seperate (ie non-integrated) connecting cable which plugs into a DIN socket at the rear. I'm sure mine did when I had it?? AFAIK you need a shielded 7pin DIN > 7pin DIN cable - I would contact Steve at Sounds Heavenly - his cables & knowledge are right up there with the best. Chris.
