Looks like a good rear speaker solution for those situations that don't have walls at the very back of their seating position. I like it!

I saw the new ones on floor stands at the KaWeDe in Berlin. Didn't get to hear them but they looked very good. However the shape seems to have changed proportion slightly, not quite perfectly spherical as the white ones above. A little more oval shaped from the profile - shorter basically!

Most every speaker I've owned has a shreik to it except for my BeoLab 5000s. I've gotten pretty high with them, but on some occasions (ultra bright songs) the protection circuits will come in around 76ish on the volume scale. It will sound like a whole different animal! All of the low frequency effects are sent to the subwoofer channel so you should definitely notice the difference.

Changing the subwoofer output on your BS1 will only change the dedicated output. With the way you setup your equipment, the overall bass parameter would be controlling the low end. The best route for you is to get yourself an extra amp and feed the Cona independantly. I have two Conas and I adore them. In stereo they are phenomenal, each are being fed
