Picking up on a US posting [here] by Menahem, what is the experience in the UK regarding Arcam vs modern B&O for quality (and price)? Even Richer Sounds sell some Arcam equipment (at a modest discount.) Graham EDIT See posts below regarding use/abuse of Bass & Treble EDIT 2. See posts re component quality

If the 300dpi at 8 inches perception theory holds, then in my opinion there is no point in upgrading for your viewing distances. But then at some point technological advances (or changes) may force the issue. Graham

I've had mine, and very slick it is too (but hasn't got me into the store again just yet.) In my case a chance remark on Beoworld by my dealer was more effective (and my dealer is not up-front about who he is on this forum, unlike King Street!) Here's what the mailshot is all about (and who is producing it) [link] And here's how that

The Liverpool dealership (now B&O owned) is in Castle Street, just on the boundary between the Liverpool 1 shopping district and the business district. Although it has
I like it! The video is possibly the creepiest thing I have seen this year!
No wonder they've disabled the rating and comment features! Do you get a free home IT department with Windows7?

If the moderators release my previous post does it go back into the thread in the original order making subsequent messages look a bit odd? EDIT Yes, it apparently does! Anyway as a long-term user of both Macs and PC's its worth noting that with Macs, apart from superior design you don't have to pay for that Norton/Symantics stuff every year
