I am thinking of getting an Apple TV to use with our BV7. Our BV7 software does not have Apple TV in it. I plan to use an iTouch as the remote for it. Is there any reason to have the software updated to allow Beo 4 control if I will be using the iTouch?

The cabinet has a Monster Power voltage stabilizer in it, a Panamax power conditioner, Blu-Ray and two shelves left over. Whether or not someone else might want to buy them from me in blue is irrelevant. I did not purchase them with the intent to sell them and if I did desire to sell them and somebody did not like the blue the black and grey grills

I found it in our home LOL. Taste is a personal matter. We think the blue is beautiful contrasted with the greys and silvers of the stands and BV7 and tweeters. We started out with Beolab 9s in black and the Beolab 7 in gray,...dull and boring. It just lacked the fun quotient of our burgundy/red Avant and speakers.
There will be a 7-50 (ish) later this year with LED tech for backlighting. This will also be incorporated (as far as its know at this stage) with the BV10 - unless this goes totally OLED... not decided yet. There are at least 6+ new products in pipelines currently - not all Bangvisions... so watch this space. Product development

There is a line with NumSignalReps. You have to update the value to 2. NumSignalReps=2 Then it will work. But this means that it can not work without that. So I wonder
You can do both if you please. You can sync, you can also share your library in itunes and the ATV will see that. Its constantly on, it does have a standby mode though - doesnt make much off a difference for energy consumption I believe sO i dont use it.
Thanks!

Our BV7 MKIII seems to have developed a strange problem. Periodically dark portions of the picture will be displayed as a bright red grid pattern and some light portions will have small areas of a blue grid pattern. It does this with both satellite TV as well as DVDs played in the internal DVD player so it would seem to be a problem with the BV7. Also

When using Apple TV with the BV7, and listening to music, does the BV7 turn on all speakers as it would with a video source or just two speakers as it would with an audio source?
