And a silly question: your ir-connector is in the right port on your BV-7? My BV8 has two ports, and I wasn't sure which was 1 and which was 2. Of course I picked the wrong one when I first set up.

Actually, Stefan may be on to something. If you have paired your remote to the AppleTV, then it won't recognize IR-signals from other units. Go into the settings menu and unpair the remote (if paired).

Strange- in the US you can control AppleTV with Beo4, without any trouble at all. European customers should adopt some American swagger: "Fuggeddeabout if I can't control my AppleTV!" Going to check.

I wonder how long Blu-ray (BD) will be around? SONY recently announced they'll be releasing movies for download to PS3, including in higher resolutions. We'll have Full-HD, I'm just not certain that we'll have Blu-ray disks. The format's really not taking off. Back when DVDs were introduced, you had SD-television and VHS to compete

If you can upload the photos to the internet, then all you have to do is click the green tree symbol in the toolbar in order to add an image to your post. As jk1002 writes, you have several options. DVI is the video portion of an HDMI-signal, and is usually preferable to component. The AppleTV outputs audio both in analog and digital form through the minijack OUT port in the back, that audio is synchronized with the image.
