Get the power chords replaced. If you can't do it yourself then leave it to your local electronic repair shop. I have replaced several myself, it's not rocket science and should not cost much.

Quite correct about the ML/MCL converter (a MCL2P or a Beolink Passive will also do the job) but better to connect with a fully wired powerlink cable or you will need to use a Beolink Eye as well. Personally, I can't think of anything worse than Beoport and associated computer. What a load of hassle, just to listen to some music. Soon you will be

  • Re: Bang & Olufsen BeoLab 2000 Beolink Speakers

Yes, but you will need a Masterlink cable to connect them together. The Beolab 2000 is a LINK speaker designed to be positioned in different room to the Beosound 3200. However, it is possible to use it in the same room although not ideal.

The mains cables are permanent two core wire into the lower edge of the amplifier module. Signal connection is via sockets on the back of the amplifier. Powerlink sockets are 9 pin DIN type and you will need Mk2 Powerlink cables to connect between the speakers and the Beomaster 4500. The user manual for the speakers is on site for Silver/Gold members

[/quote] Have a look at the product pages. These are Beolabs http://www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=369 Is that what you have??? Or, these are Beovox's http

  • Re: will a MCP5500 work with a BS4500?

Make absolutely sure that your BM4500 is 2 way as there is no practical means of adding it afterwards. Or...... Dont bother with 2 way and use a BL1000. Much the more sensible option!!!!! IMHO
