Looks very nice with the White 8000's. Having it close to the 8000's makes the Black bases look good too. As I always though they should be White too. Craig

There was no user manual on site for my Avant 28" VCR either. To be fair though all the setting up was very similar to my BV3-32. Tomorrow I will have a play with the menu to see if I can help you out. Can't do it at the moment as we have the Grandson for the night and he is asleep right next to the Avant. Craig

Chris, what do you get in the menu when you go into connections? When I upgraded the STB controller SW in my Avant. Pressing Sat on the Beo4 did nothing. TV, DVD and VCR all worked OK. When I went into the connections menu, it said Auto where STB should be. Just set connection back to STB, then the STB list came up. Craig
