I feel sorry for B&O store owners at the moment. The immediate future would not be looking too good for them. I hope B&O lifts its game and starts to produce exciting things like they used to.

I agree re desirability. Think of the impact of the innovations B&O displayed until the mid to late nineties... We were all wowed by the products back then. I think a lot of that wow factor has gone as other companys catch up. B&O used to keep ahead in leaps and bounds, now it seems to release something, see what everyone thinks and then improve

Both DVD1 and DVD2. Just took it to my local B&O service centre in Melbourne... It was a very quick process.

Phil, The DVD2 does work with the Avant VCR version. I had this set-up, ut actually went back to a DVD1 (hated the DVD2) Jonathan
