Shopping Centres don't tend to sap away from B&O's business - bear in mind that B&O dealers are usually slightly off the beaten track because they know that at least a large proportion of their business is going to come from people who are specifically looking for a B&O system, or have a B&O system in mind.

It's almost certainly worth keeping though, some of these old systems are still worth a lot of money - some of them will sell for over £1500. Getting hold of the cables is relatively easy...

Absolutely excellent film, just finished watching it - fully recommended if you're a fan of Gangster films. Think Snatch with a bit more style and a little more polish...

There is definitely no need for a subwoofer with the BeoLab 5s - in fact they outperform any other subwoofer I've heard on the market in regards to control, maximum SPL output, musicality and extension (heck they go easily into subsonic frequencies). I do have some Ravel on vinyl somewhere, I think it's from my granddad's collection - I'll have to dig it out. Currently listening to Massive Attack 's Protection . I can't get over how just... amazing... Massive Attack are. Every album of theirs is basically a genre defining album, they essentially invented Trip-Hop.

It's the correct angle to view a TV at, in much the same way a BeoVision 7 should ideally be viewed angled up in relation to the viewer very slightly...

Ignace: i was thinking of instead of using a BL 7.1 / 7.4 as centre-speaker, use the internal speakers as center. That's how i used the built-in active speakers on my MX7000, as center / voice.(DeToma X501) All the B&O TVs with surround sound decoders do this - B&O wouldn't break that tradition...
