When you said 'Pinball Wizard' i thought you meant the micro had gone. This actually looks hilarious as the display lights flash like a disco rig, reminiscent of a pinball or fruit machine!! It's a common symptom indeed - on the DVD (Mk2) Beo4's.. If i get a failed one, i just order the later VMEM/AMEM PCB and button pad - it costs the same as the older one! Lee

Not really the same era - CXs are not that efficient and the 901 not that powerful. I would actually consider something a little older. Beovox 901s spring to mind for some reason!!

If it's marked the Anti Reflective coating, you're stuffed (sorry not to sugar coat it). The more you try and polish out the mark, the more it will strip off the coating, the worse it will look.. However, i have a spare 32" RF contrast screen we kept for an emergency but haven't needed in 2 years. You're welcome to borrow it on
