C75s do rot as well - and the disadvantage is that the drivers are quite a lot more expensive.
-
True! I used to have mine next to the bed where it showed the time and source playing despite my having an Avant and Beocenter 2 as my main system. It worked because of my hybrid ML/MCL system! The blue screen was not useful though!

Agree - C75s are possibly a little seeter. they are far more complex than C100s - C75s are of Logline construction and have more expensive drivers. It is however amazing just how little the sound changes if you realise how completely different the CX100s are! A bit like the Beogram 4000 and the 4002 - the later model is much simpler and cheaper to make

You can use a Beolink 7000 with any product that uses a Beolink 1000 or Beo4. It is however very clunky to use in one way mode so I would not recommend it. It works very well with the 6500 system, 7000 system, 4500 system and 9500 systems. If you don't have one of these, it is going to be a disappointment.

What I find interesting is that the trade price for a BS2 is more than that of a BS6.

I thought it would go years ago, but it has only just been discontinued! So if you want a pretty and good sounding B&O MP3 player, this could be your last chance!

Obviously impossible to diagnose properly on line but I would suggest looking at the following: 1. Corrosion on the contacts - very likely if not been used for a long time. 2. Motor seized - try spinning the platter by hand as you move the arm and see if that starts it up. If it does, let it run for a good long time. 3. Cracked solder joints or defective

1. This is coming - it really makes little sense to blow large amounts on a TV (see2!) when all you get is RF. 2. Not going to happen though the BV7-55 is cheaper than the 9 I suppose. 3. Masterlink gateway and the iPod app arriving any time. 4. I am sure this is what the revised Masterlink will offer. Along with 1 and 3 - but not 2 I am afraid!

The picture quality on mine is quite frankly fantastic. Best picture I have seen. Wonderful blacks, superb detail and very good motion. The 46" will be just as good I am sure. I am sure there are some sets with issues (I have seen the picture thread) but I would expect the vast majority to be just like mine.

Quite correct! You can work it when not at home though. In the UK, one should really use 1571 which allows much better integration!
