The little window in the left down corner is there to accomodate the two way communication and not the RDS. RDS could be fitted to early 2300's as an option. My early 2300 has RDS and it only displays the name of the programme, so Í'm not sure if it has function as porgramme type. I haven't seen a RDS-module for sale for some time
