How are you connecting the speakers to the Ouverture?

Almost certain not possible to clean it and have it last any length of time. The only real option is replacement. Simple job for electronics tech. Requires dismantling and soldering skills. Relay will cost £20 or so from B&O although they are available at lower cost from electronic component suppliers on the internet.

Remove the top of the case and the CD laser lens is accessible. Clean with cotton wool bud or similar.

Sounds like a dirty laser lens.

I have answered this in the main forum!!! The Li battery is goosed and that should be changed before looking any further. I guess that the pins in question are the ones to initiate test mode and they certainly won't cure this problem.

Don't get too excited. They are not worth that much!! The CX100's will undoubtedly have foam rot unless your relative had them refoamed or had new drivers fitted. Unlikely, so probably worth £50 if they are spotless. The TV is probably worth £35-£50 on ebay if it has a working remote. Enthusiasts are a great bunch but generally
