OK, so I'll go nuts then. Vertu is a overpriced phone. Vertu looks good, but an iPhone or even Serenata is much better looking. One can of course fill any electronic device with precious metals or gems, but does it need it? It doesn't fill any other function than to please it's owner.

BTW it is available in Black/Chrome!

I bought a white/chrome one. Yes the green is extreme, but if was the only good quality image I found.

The BL5's are definitely worth getting. If the new price will increase, I'm not sure it will affect used prices. Cause in the end a products worth is what someone is willing to pay for it. (used) I've never worried too much about new vs. used, the used stuff I have bought have for the most part been as good as new, but at 50% the cost.

I think you should buy BL5's. They are superb. I'm more than happy with mine.

Someone with good soldering skills might be able to help you. But from what I remember the connecting strip is very delicate and small, like a computer component.
